Roadmap
The ISO Router roadmap is designed to balance rapid innovation with institution-grade security and compliance. Development is structured in phases, each unlocking new functionality, integrations, and adoption channels.
Phase 0 – Foundation & Design (Completed / Ongoing)
Finalization of ISOR white paper, vision, and protocol architecture.
Initial token design and economic model developed.
Community and partner outreach begins (wallets, exchanges, fintechs).
Security partnerships initiated for smart contract audits.
Phase 1 – Launch & Core Protocol (Ongoing)
Focus: Establish the ISOR token, deploy the first version of the ISO Router on Solana, and validate core functionality.
Token Generation Event (TGE): ISOR launched on Solana with liquidity pools.
Initial Listings: Integration with DEXs (Raydium, Orca) and early CEX partners.
Core Smart Contracts: Deployment of intent parser, routing engine, and fee distribution contracts.
Staking Module (v1): Basic staking for ISOR holders with reward emissions.
Governance Bootstrapping: Establish DAO framework and treasury oversight.
Audit Completion: Third-party audit of all core contracts.
Phase 2 – Compliance Integration & Ecosystem Growth (Q1–Q2 2026)
Focus: Connect ISOR to fiat rails and institutional-grade liquidity.
ISO 20022 Metadata Parser: Full compliance with ISO 20022 fields in on-chain routing.
Off-Ramp Partnerships: Integration with licensed fiat gateways (USD, EUR, GBP).
Stablecoin Expansion: Prioritize regulated stablecoins (USDC, EURC, PYUSD, potential CBDCs).
Liquidity Incentives: Launch liquidity mining programs to deepen pools.
Governance Proposals: First community-led parameter changes (fees, whitelists).
Analytics Dashboard: Public dashboard showing routing volume, fees, and governance.
Phase 3 – Institutional Onboarding & Multi-Chain Expansion (Q3–Q4 2026)
Focus: Scale adoption by targeting fintechs, banks, and multi-chain liquidity.
Enterprise API (v1): Launch ISO Router API for institutional integrations.
Cross-Chain Routing: Expansion to other ecosystems (Ethereum L2s, BNB, Polygon).
Node Decentralization: Open participation for routing nodes with staking requirements.
Compliance Automation: On-chain integration with global sanction/KYC screening tools.
Treasury Programs: Governance allocates ISOR treasury funds to new partnerships.
Buy-Back & Burn (v1): Routing fees partially used to buy back and burn ISOR.
Phase 4 – Advanced Utility & Ecosystem Scaling (2027)
Focus: Enhance utility, scalability, and network effects — positioning ISOR as the default ISO 20022 → DeFi bridge.
Batch Routing & Netting: Enable multiple payments to be netted and routed in bulk, reducing costs for institutions.
Premium Features for ISOR Stakers: Fee discounts, priority routing, and enterprise-only features gated by staking.
CBDC Integration: Support for tokenized central bank digital currencies as they launch.
Cross-Border Pilot Programs: Collaborations with fintechs and PSPs to test real-world ISO 20022 → DeFi settlement flows.
DAO Autonomy: Transition most protocol control to fully decentralized governance.
Interoperability Standards: Establish ISOR as a reference implementation for ISO 20022-compliant DeFi routing.
Long-Term Vision (Post-2027)
Position ISOR as the industry standard for ISO 20022-compliant decentralized payments.
Expand integrations into trade finance, securities settlement, and tokenized assets.
Build partnerships with Tier-1 banks and global financial institutions.
Continue to evolve tokenomics with sustainable fee capture, staking rewards, and buy-back mechanisms.
The roadmap shows a clear path from launch → compliance integration → institutional adoption → global standardization. ISOR is not just a token project but a multi-year financial infrastructure build designed to serve both DeFi and traditional finance in the ISO 20022 era.
